What is TravelRight?

The Big Wheel works side by side with TravelRight to support better transport options across the City and boyond.

The free service provides travel advice and support to local communities and was initially created to help residents and businesses in North Nottingham (Aspley, Basford, Bestwood, Bilborough, Bulwell, Bulwell Forest and Leen Valley) travel easier, quicker and cheaper.  The TravelRight schemes are now also available for residents of Gedling Borough and Broxtowe Borough too.

The TravelRight project teams work in communities, schools and local businesses – giving hands-on and practical support to help make the most of the transport systems in the area. The service offers you ideas on how to get about – to work, to learn and to play – on a budget, saving you time and keeping you fit.  They also have lots of events, offers and activities specially created for your communities.

TravelRight can  help by giving personalised free assessments, planning routes to jobs, training and education – including special discounts on cycling and public transport.
