Nottingham City Council offers hundreds of hire bikes for people to use around the City, from day hire to a full year! It’s a great way to get around – if you are a visitor to the City, just want to explore on a bike for the day or if you don’t have your own bike and need one for longer term use. The scheme offers not only a cycle hire service but also secure parking facilities at a number of key locations for those who already have a bike.
You can hire a bike using a Citycard, by paying at the Broadmarsh Travel Centre or the Nottingham Tourist Information Centre, or by hiring a bike from cycle hire stands using your mobile phone.
You can use a Citycard Cycle for one-off, regular or commuter hire. Of course, you’ll need information on how the scheme works, your different options and what you need to do to before you can ride off on a bike. Visit Citycard Cycles for the latest information.
If you’re planning to commute to and from work or college using a Citycard Cycle and want to hire a bike for a longer period of time – a week, a month or even a whole year, Nottingham City Council has arranged great rates to make it as cheap as possible for you. Click here for prices.
