You don’t have to own a bike to be able to enjoy the fun of cycling. Nottingham City Council offers hire bikes under their Citycard scheme, allowing you to hire a bike for a few hours or a much longer period of time.
Alternatively you can hire a bike from a number of local bike shops or at some of our parks, meaning you get all the benefit of cycling without having to transport your bike around.
Like London and many major cities, Nottingham City Council offers bikes for people to use around the city. There are bikes located at 9 hire stands across the City Centre. Anyone can use them, and all you need to do to take advantage of this facility is to register in advance and then book via mobile phone. Find out more.
Bunneys Bikes on Carrington Street in Nottingham City Centre offer a bike hire service. You can also hire bikes (plus child seats, tag-alongs etc) at Sherwood Pines from Sherwood Pines Cycles. At Clumber Park there is a range of bikes (including electric bikes) for hire.
