There are lots of FREE cycle rides that take place around Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The cycle rides are great fun and they’re free! It’s a good way to get out and about and explore a bit of your local area – and you’ll meet lots of new people too. To see our full calendar of rides click here.
Our rides are open to anyone with a bike – some are led by our instructors and some are organised by our partners. All ages are welcome, however if you are 16 or under you need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. There is no need to book – just turn up at the meeting point in good time to start the ride.
Most rides include a stop at a café or pub for refreshments en-route!
Our volunteer ride leaders are all experienced cyclists. They have researched each route in advance and are happy to answer questions about it or about bikes and cycling in general.
If you can, please bring a puncture repair kit and spare inner tube (even if you can’t repair it yourself there will be someone on the ride who can help). Check out our cycling section for more tips about what to bring and tips to help you keep your bike safe.
As well as regular rides that take place on a weekly basis we have some one-off and themed rides. You can access our full ride calendar here.
