Nottingham’s cycle hubs are secure, covered cycle parking areas where you can leave your bike safe in the knowledge that it is securely stored. There are 11 hubs around the City:
The hubs are accessed by using a registered Citycard and they provide good quality cycle parking at key public transport locations.
Bus, train and tram customers can also continue their commute by hiring a Citycard Cycle from one of several locations around the City using their Citycard.
In 2014, Nottingham City Council secured £6.1 million to invest in Nottingham’s cycle facilities at a level of at least £10 per head. Nottingham Cycle City is a project that aims to break down the barriers that stop people cycling on a day to day basis and to help people live more healthily. The programme of improvements to Nottingham’s cycle infrastructure will invest in the following:
• Cross-city cycle routes
• City Centre cycle connections
• Access to green spaces and corridors
• Neighbourhood improvements
