Megadeals with the Megatrain!

We thought we knew all there was to know about travelling in, around, to and from Nottingham, but sometimes even we’re surprised.  We were bowled over to discover that our friendly local train operator, East Midlands Trains, offers jaw-droppingly cheap train tickets to London through the website megatrain.com.

By using megatrain.com it’s possible to get seats priced from just £1 – plus a 50p booking fee.  You do have to book in advance and be flexible about travel times, but we reckon it’s worth it.  There are 3,500 megatrain seats available each week on the East Midlands Trains network.  That means megatrain.com tickets can be used on services to London from Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby, Loughborough and Leicester as well as Nottingham, so they sell out quick!
