Hop on the Big Wheel bus and hop off at the fantastic Global Picnic

Free bus to Wollaton Hall for the Global Picnic

From 1 – 17 August Nottingham will be taken over by the magical Children’s Festival – there’ll be storytelling, special plays and even street games.  The grand finale to this fun festival is a Global Picnic at Wollaton Park – and this time we’re not content to just take Kanga along – we want to get all of you there too!  That’s why we’ve teamed up with Nottingham City Council and Nottingham City Transport to bring you the free Big Wheel bus service.

That’s right, free!  The Global Picnic runs from 11am – 5pm on 17th August, and our buses will be running from 10:30am from Beastmarket Hill to Wollaton Park and back.  They run every 12 minutes, so whether you want to go just for the Teddy Bear’s Picnic at 2pm or for the whole day they’ll be a bus to get you there.  The last bus leaves Wollaton at 5:30pm – giving you time to pack away your picnic blankets without missing the bus.

And if you need to get a bus to Beastmarket Hill the special summer Grouprider rate of £3 for two adults and two children will still be available – when it’s so cheap and easy you’ll have no excuse to take the car!
