Big Track Improvements

The Big Track has just got better. Thanks to funding from the Greater Nottingham Growth Point and Nottingham University the last bit of the route that was away from the waters edge has now had a new section of path built. For more, visit: www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=5526

Now when you are heading out towards Beeston and you pass under the A52 flyover you can continue alongside the River, no longer needing to use the road and leave the riverside.

If you are heading into town, when you pass the gates at Grove Farm and you would normally head along the road towards Sat Bains, look for the green bollards and turn right. This will take you alongside the Trent to join with the existing path under the flyover.

Further improvements will see benches and new signing to further enhance the area and allow users to fully enjoy the route and the sights along it.
