Exploring Nottingham by Tram

The tram line has created a quick and direct link between Nottingham city centre and some of its outer lying reaches.  That means there’s never been a better time to explore Greater Nottingham.  Especially when you can travel by tram all day for just £2.70!

There are brilliant attractions close to all tram stops including major sports venues, top cultural centres and simply superb shopping sites.  In fact there are too many to mention here!  So head over to the NET website where you’ll find a whole host of guides to the fabulous attractions along the tram.  Here are direct links to what we think are the best two guides they have:

NET in partnership with Experience Nottinghamshire has produced a handy guide to attractions by tram click here to view it online.

NET has also put together tram walks that take in some of the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside – and finish at a pub for a well earned meal.  Click here to view the tram walk guides online.

And for all over 18s there’s a handy Beer by Bus and Tram guide produced by NCT and NET in association with CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).  This features local pubs that serve real ale as recommended by CAMRA, and of course they are easily accessible by tram – or bus.  Click here to find out more.

Or why not just try getting off at a different stop to see what you can find in the area?  You might find a new shop, great café or lovely spot to sit and think that you didn’t know about.  So get out there and have fun re-discovering Nottingham!
