Electric vehicles

Electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular – and as our driving habits, fuel consumption and working patterns change they’re set to become even more common place on our roads and in our businesses.

So, it’s important that as a City we’re prepared for electric vehicles and there’s lots that’s happening to set the path for change, including the Plugged in Places scheme to assist businesses to get involved.

Charging points

There are currently two electric vehicle charging points in the city situated in the Victoria Centre car park level 2 white zone.  For more information click here.

Nottingham’s Electric Vehicle plans

There are plans to provide electric vehicle charging points at the new Nottingham Station car park and also at selected Park & Ride sites. The City Council is currently undertaking feasibility work to determine the best locations. Keep an eye out on the Big Wheel website for more information as it happens.

Plugged in Places

Plugged in Places is a scheme to help assist businesses in moving to electric vehicles – it can help with part-funding of new electric vehicle provisions such as charging points at business premises.
