Nottingham is an official Science City, with half its jobs in the knowledge intensive industries. It’s also the 3rd fastest growing city in the UK – with £3.5 billion investment planned in the next 10 years. Its two universities attract an annual £90 million in research funding and it’s a top retail centre in the throes of a far-reaching physical transformation.

Such a city needs connections – to the region, to the UK, to Europe – and within its own environs. That is why The Hub, the scheme to create one of the world’s finest rail stations and public transport interchanges, is of paramount importance to the new Nottingham.
