Strategy
The Lenton Area Travel Plan started in the summer of 2007 when the Highways Agency and Nottingham City Council contacted a number of organisations in the Lenton area.
Together we agreed to commit to a number of shared ideals and develop a plan that provides a way for everyone to get involved and do their bit to achieve our joint goals.
Following an initial staff survey and site audit we have collectively worked to provide support so that individuals can have a real go at trying to travel in a more sustainable way and therefore do their bit to help us all achieve our shared goals.
It is important to remember that the Lenton Area Travel Plan is about evolution and not revolution. By that we mean we need your help! If the plan is to succeed we need your thoughts, we need your feedback, we need to know what you want to do and how you want to do it.
It’s only through your participation and your involvement that we can really make a difference. Tell us what you think and what you would like to try out. Collectively we can deliver so much more than if we were to work on our own and that’s why the Lenton Area Travel Plan is designed by you, for you and owned by you!
