Beacon Workshop and Event Programme 2009
Nottinghamshire County and Nottingham City Council are hosting a series of workshops and events in spring 2009 to explore in detail some of our accessibility initiatives.
These workshops will be led by key members of the City and County Councils' transport strategy and public transport teams and are designed for local authority and public and voluntary sector colleagues responsible for improving access to key services for employment, learning, health, leisure and other essential services.
The workshops aim to introduce delegates to the successful strategies employed by Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Councils to tackle complex aspects of accessibility planning. The format is designed to allow opportunities for delegates to discuss project development and how these approaches could work for them.
