If Walk Week gives you a taste for getting out and about on your feet, why not do The Nordic Starlight Trek on Saturday 16th May 2009? It’s a sponsored walk around the Big Track so you can stretch your legs while raising money for a good cause.
No matter what your ability you are welcome to take part in this walk. If you don’t think you can manage the full 10 miles of the Big Track you can choose to walk a four mile route instead. It starts between 5 and 6pm and by the expected finishing time of 10pm the stars should be out. What a lovely way to spend an evening.
All the money raised from the event will go to the Garden of Grace, which supports people who have been bereaved through suicide. You can find out more about the Garden of Grace here.
