Parklife 2010

Parklife 2010

Get out and about and have fun at a park near you this summer! Over the coming weeks Nottingham City Council will be running a series  of fun FREE community events which offer a range of exciting activities in the parks and open spaces in Nottingham city.

Dubbed ‘Parklife’, this years events aim to provide a fun-packed family day out where people of all ages come together to take part in lots of different activities. Local organisations and partners will be on hand to provide activities ranging from a climbing wall and face painting to dancing and circus skills! There will also be information available on how to get involved in your community and what’s happening in your area. Added to this, you’ll be able to pick up lots of tips on how to be more active and how easy it is to take steps to embrace a healthier lifestyle for you and your family.

Why not pack a picnic and pop down to one of events below. As always, public transport is a handy option so if you fancy leaving the car at home, visit: www.travelineeastmidlands.co.uk for more travel information.
