It’s been so busy here at Big Wheel HQ that I’ve barely had time to think, let alone update the blog!
Now that’s it’s June we’re officially busy. Tomorrow is World Environment Day, and of course we couldn’t let it pass without a celebration, so we’ve organised a special event for the businesses at Lenton Lane to celebrate the launch of their area travel plan. There’s no need to be disappointed if you don’t work there though, soon you’ll see our Kanga bouncing around all over the place.
I’m just hoping the weather decides that it’s going to start being summery. I really love to go out and just amble around Nottingham when the weather’s good. I always end up finding little cafes or cool shops that I’d never seen before, and end up rediscovering Nottingham. No matter how long I’ve been here it keeps throwing up (good!) surprises that reminds me why I wanted to move here in the first place. In fact I might have to get out and explore in my lunch hour today, while I can still see blue skies and before leisurely lunch hours become a thing of the past in a flurry of festivals and events…
