‘A light at the end of the tunnel…’

Published on September 14, 2007

…firstly, a piece of entirely random news. I went to the theatre last night to watch a musical. And being the complete heathen that I am I hadn’t for one minute realised in advance that the whole show was about singing, dancing…and more excitingly…rollerskating trains! Yupp….dazzling electric trains, rusty old steam trains and even oily diesel trains. Plus, the tunes were entirely addictive and I’m still singing them now (for proof please see the title of this post!!)

Anyway onwards and upwards to other bits and bobs! Our lovely marketing assistant – Jessica – has left us to go to Uni. Jess did such a fabulous job and I know we’re all going to miss her. I’m sure she’ll take London by storm though.

And today we drew the prize winners for our Notts County VIP tickets give away. I’ve had emails back from the winners and it’s been nice to see how pleased they were to get them. I’m off to the game tomorrow too, it’s Notts County – vs Dagenham. The Big Wheel always seem to bring good luck to the local teams when we attend so we’re hoping for more of the same.

And, things are really building up momentum for the Big Day Out. The programme is absolutely bursting at the seams. I’ve managed to invite just about all of my extended family, all my friends, work colleagues and even long lost acquaintances. I think it’ll be a cracking day.

Have a nice weekend!

Helen
