Ooops… I feel like I’ve somewhat neglected my blogging duties over the last week. It’s been so busy with the Big Day Out (14,000 people came along, by the way!) that we’ve hardly had chance to let the dust settle before starting to work on other things. There’s so much happening at the moment…the outdoor Ice Rink that’s going to be in the Market Square this Christmas, a conference in a couple of days time, lots of work on Core Cities and a never ending stream of things for the website. That’s just to name a few.
And, we’re in the unusual position of having hundreds of bags surrounding our desks here at the Big Wheel offices today. See picture as evidence!
It’s all very exciting stuff.
On a personal note I’ve decided to have a go at the ice skating. I have a terrible sense of balance but I think that I’m willing to give it a try…as long as the Big Wheel Kangaroo joins me on the ice.
And, we’re launching a new competition later this week to win Kangaroo tickets to support Planet Nottingham’s green gigs this weekend. Keep an eye out on the homepage for more info. If you’ve got suggestions of activities that we could get involved in (they need to relate to sustainable transport!) then please drop us a line from the ‘contact us’ section of the website.
