Celebrate Six Years of the Tram with Cheaper Weekly Travel

Published on February 25, 2010

Nottingham’s Tram celebrates its sixth birthday next month and to mark the occasion, customers are being offered discounted weekly tickets as a thank you for making the tram so successful!

Between 1st March 2010 and 31st March 2010 inclusive, the Weekly Ticket will be reduced from £12 to just £10 a saving of nearly 17%!

There’s no advance purchase necessary, customers simply board the tram and buy the ticket from the on board conductor. Once purchased, the ticket can be used for unlimited journeys on the tram for a week, giving even better value for money travel!

Trams first started running on 9 March 2004 between the City Centre, Hyson Green, Basford, Bulwell and Hucknall with a spur to Phoenix Park. There are five Park and Ride sites on the 14 kilometre line, offering 3,000 free parking spaces to help commuters and shoppers avoid pricey City Centre car parks and the hassle of driving into Nottingham”.

Detailed tram information is available online at www.thetram.net or by calling 942 77 77.
