Anyone who’s been past the Old Market Square this past week will have noticed an exciting addition…  The Wheel of Nottingham has returned to town!

That’s right, the hugely popular big wheel is back.  It opens on 12th February 2009 – just in time for Light Night – and will be open Monday-Saturday until 26th April 2009.  The views from the top are breathtaking, and give you a chance to see Nottingham as you never have before.

As the Wheel of Nottingham is in the Old Market Square it’s easy peasy to get to. Trams whizz right past it and many buses stop just a few minutes away.  There are safe cycling racks just up the road, and it’s in the middle of a pedestrian-friendly area.  Great stuff if you’re looking for something to do with the kids at half term or Easter!

Go the Wheel of Nottingham website for more details about when the wheel’s open, how much it costs and where to buy tickets.
