The 28th Great Notts Bike Ride takes place Sunday 21st June 2009
The Great Notts Bike Ride on Sunday 21st June 2009 is the grand finale to our Bike Week programme of Big Wheel sponsored and supported events and activities. We can’t think of a better way to go out with a bang than by joining the thousands of cyclists already signed up for this special ride.
In its 28th year, the Great Notts Bike Ride, organised by Nottinghamshire County Council and sponsored by Boots, just keeps on growing. That’s because it’s perfect for people of all ages and abilities and can either be a real challenge or a fun day out. You can choose between 18, 50, 75 mile routes or the family lap challenge, which is ideal for kids.
Online and postal entries for the event have now closed, but you can still turn up and pay on the day. Just make sure you’ve got cash or your cheque book with you because they can’t accept card payments. Click here for more information about the event.
Are you trying to work out the best way to get to the GNBR? Try using the online journey planner www.travelineeastmidlands.co.uk car share with a group of friends or cycle there as a warm up for the event.
